Description

Join us and enjoy making something that is both functional and decorative for your garden.
During this workshop you will be using Stoneware clay (This is fired to over 1200° which
makes it frost proof) and use the technique of slab building to make a planter. You will use
everyday materials to make a mould (newspaper) and there will be a range of materials for
you to explore to add texture and slips and underglazes will be available for you to decorate
and add colour. Your Planter will be taken away, dried, bisque fired and then glazed and
fired again ready for you to collect in approximately 4 weeks.

Taught by potters Di and Rosie, the workshop costs £35 per person which includes all materials, two firing, glaze plus refreshments.  Suitable for Adults and older Children.
