Description
Join us this summer for 3 days of learning the art of fused glass or expand your skills if you have been to workshops before. I cant think of a better way to spend some of the summer. We will start with an intro to the equipment and materials as well as various demos throughout the 3 days. We will work with powders, stringers, frit, opal and transparent glass and inclusions such as copper and oxides. We will experiment with the ‘Watercolour’ powder method, screen printing on glass, painting with liquid glass, freeze and fuse, glass modelling clay as well as various techniques with building glass such as optical illusions.
Once you have completed this course you will be able to book to come to Glass Club.
Please bring lunch and refreshments will be provided. Cost of materials will be charged depending on how much you would like to be fired.
Dates: 30th August 10-4pm, 31st August 10-4pm and 1st September 10-2pm and costs £120 for the 3 days.
