Our new Sewing School is taking shape and we can’t wait to welcome you along! It is set on the second floor of our building, above the shop and Sorting Office workshop area.
We have two experienced sewing teachers who will be running most of the sewing sessions, along with Kathryn. Sue and Wendy work for all the big named sewing supplies companies demoing and teaching, as well as writing books on sewing!
Our workshops and courses will be for complete beginners to those that have done some sewing, but would like to learn new techniques or patterns. As well as workshops and courses for children, of course.
We will have a sewing supplies area in the shop, so you can make and buy… you can never have enough fabric!
As well as hand sewing, our we have a fleet of sewing machines supplied by the best of the best, Janome. Brand new digital machines for you to use, as well as an overlocker to make all your makes look really professional.
