Description
Our series of ‘Night Out’ workshops have been created so you can meet up with your friends/family, going ‘out out’ to The Sorting Office as well as making something fabulous. This Friday evening event features Wine and Pottery making.
Learn the art of slab building pottery and you will make a tealight holder. You will also design and paint with slip your own mug. We will provide the wine tasting and some nibbles and you are more than welcome to bring your own bottle too.
7pm arrival with wine welcome drink and wine tasting.
7.10pm Design and paint with slip your own bisque fired mug to get your creative juices flowing!
8.00pm Our pottery expert will talk to you about the materials, techniques and tools of slab pottery.
8.05pm you will have a practice with using the tools and techniques
8.10pm You will design and make your own pinch pot and glaze it whilst enjoying another glass or other refreshments and nibbles.
9.00pm depart and collect your pottery approx 6-8 of weeks later as it needs to go into the kilns.
