Description
Learning the art of traditional stained glass techniques. This is a fun and relaxed course where you will learn all about traditional copper foil techniques as well as a discussion about leading. Learn how to cut glass, grind, copper foil and solder to make your own small stained glass panel or sun catcher as a practice piece (including in cost). You will learn to use the tools and the basics which you can then expand on in our glass club or further classes including using lead itself. Last sessions you will work on your own design using what you have learnt (glass cost extra).
Workshop classes are fun, relaxed and of course we have cake. All workshop classes are for complete beginners or for those with some experience and would like to brush up on their skills. Stained glass is a craft that needs practice, so this course will be the start of your journey when you learn the basics! You can continue on one of our other courses or at glass club which happens every week.
