Description
Would you like to have a go at making your own cushions? In our half day workshop you will learn a new technique and make 1 cushion cover, which you can then replicate at home. You can make them for inside or outside your home. We will send you a fabric list before the workshop – we do have some fabric that you can use for patchwork or embellishment purposes.
‘Piping’ edge cushion cover – 26th September 10-1pm
Patchwork cushion cover – 18th October 2-5pm
This workshop takes place in our Sewing School. We have brand new Janome sewing machines for you to use, overlocker, plus all the other tools, equipment and sewing ‘notions’.
Sue Cotten will be your teacher: “Sue Cotten is a life-long maker of anything creative with particular interest in textiles, sewing, paper crafting and a prolific hoarder of ‘stash’! Sue is a fun teacher with a wealth of skills, tips and tricks she loves to share. Everyday is a school day in Sue’s classes. Sue works with various brands, demoing and teaching at The Festival of Quilts and all the major Sewing Events.”
All patterns, notions and workshop is provided within the cost. We will send you a list of what fabrics to bring. Refreshments will be provided throughout the workshop.
We have sewing machines you can use, but if you prefer to bring your own you are very welcome to.
