Description
In this workshop you will learn how to take a landscape picture and turn it into a freehand machine embroidered picture. You will learn how to simplify the shapes onto fabric, choose colours and textures, fix to the fabric and then use your machine to freehand machine embroider.
This workshop is suitable for everyone (beginners may need to come back and finish their piece (no cost) as they may spend longer getting used to the machines and freehand practice). Cost includes refreshments and cake.
26th October 2025 10.30-4.30pm £65 including all materials. We do have sewing machines for you to use, but if you want to bring your own you are welcome to. You need to make sure your machine can drop its feed dog and also bring a freehand foot.
Please note – this workshop is taking place upstairs in our sewing school. Im afraid we do not have a lift.
